Propur Shower Filter
Bought mine from Infowars. Turned our green well water clear and removed all of the odors.

I would not buy a Propur shower filter, period. Not only is the product no better than cheaper alternatives, but customer service is one of the worst I've ever encountered. We are in an apt with well water, and the shower, as well as all other water is nearly unusable. We bought a cheaper shower filter at a major chain hardware store, and saw improvement, albeit minimal. This was encouraging, as I fully expected Propur, with it's celebrity endorsements, and waving around it's lab reports, to be far superior... maybe now I could take a shower at home again without fear of heavy metal toxicity and God only knows what else... but not so fast. The Propur filter was extremely underwhelming and did not even slightly outperform the far cheaper option. IN fact, it appear as though the other filter did a little bit better job with the odor. With this, we contacted Propur for a return. They said they'd take it back but would not pay to ship it back. Now, I've worked in e-commerce for 5 years, and this, in 2017, is terrible business practice. I've seen companies pay to ship back far larger, heavier automotive items because of customer dissatisfaction with their product. This is what a company with good products does, because it doesn't happen often and it's worth it to preserve a reputation. Afterall, few people expect every product to live up to expectations, but when it does not, it's standard to expect the company pay to take this back, especially when we paid for shipping to get it in the first place. I suspect this happens alot to Propur, and this is why they cannot pay for a return, they'd likely go out of business. I think it's a disgrace that Alex Jones actually endorses this crap, and it's made me look at anything he now endorses with a more suspicious eye. This not only destroyed my opinion of Propur, but has damaged my view of Mr. Jones as well. Please, if you are looking to buy this, don't. You will likely be disappointed. If you want to believe the Propur employees who are writing reviews, then go ahead, but you'll be paying to send this piece of crap back...
